make it from stainless steel, painted mild steel or your own choice of
material. The load cell is fully overload protected to withstand years of
abuse. Use your own indicator, add a Chi
Mei indicator or take our serial RS232 transmitter option for direct
computer connection. The 1610 platform frame is the basis of a weight
checking system used in automated supermarket checkout counters: it was
designed to stringent accuracy and reliability specifications. Since it is
manufactured in large quantities, its price is incredibly low, giving you a
golden opportunity to make terrific scales for a terrific price!
Note: Although the 1610's accuracy
meets all legal requirements for 5000 divisions, this scale has not been NTEP or
