LOAD CELL FRAMES FOR DO-IT-YOURSELF SCALES

Custom and O.E.M. scales.Model 1610 scale.

Take our load cell frame and add your own base, platter and indicator support;  make it from stainless steel, painted mild steel or your own choice of material.  The load cell is fully overload protected to withstand years of abuse.  Use your own indicator, add a Chi Mei indicator or take our serial RS232 transmitter option for direct computer connection.  The 1610 platform frame is the basis of a weight checking system used in automated supermarket checkout counters:  it was designed to stringent accuracy and reliability specifications.  Since it is manufactured in large quantities, its price is incredibly low, giving you a golden opportunity to make terrific scales for a terrific price!

Note:  Although the 1610's accuracy meets all legal requirements for 5000 divisions, this scale has not been NTEP or Canadian Weights and Measures approved.  If required, contact us regarding this subject. 

1610 PLATFORM FRAME SPECIFICATIONS

Overall platform size (when platter and base installed): 20" (508mm)L x 16" (406mm)W x 5" (127mm)H
Capacity: 100kg/220lb maximum
Load cell: Scaime AG or equal, 10 to 100 kg, 2mV/V output
Serial RS232 transmitter: Mounts on frame
Power to transmitter: 12V DC or wall adapter, 110/120V AC, 60 Hz, 5W.

Built-in digital RS232 weight transmitter (as seen in picture above)
External analog 4-20mA, 0-5v or 0-10V transmitter model 1410
