Company and personnel memberships include Quebec Order of Engineers, Instrument Society of America and International Society of Weighing and Measurement. Our engineers pay attention to the smallest details at every stage of the production process, whether it is the mechanical design of the load cell system, cabling and connectors or the specialized analog design techniques that produce a truly outstanding weight indicator. PRESIDENT - LEONA KAUFMAN - Graduate of Concordia University, Montreal, has over 30 years experience in company finance. 15 years experience in managerial positions within Scale-Tron Inc. and RL Scales Inc. As well as finance, her responsibilities include human resources.
VICE-PRESIDENT - ROBIN SHEPHERDSON, has a background in electronics and weighing systems. After graduating 1965 in England, settled in Montreal and worked in spacecraft electronics, military communications and mainframe computer power supplies before forming Scalar Electronics in 1971 and Scale-Tron Inc. in 1984. Directs engineering and R&D activities.
GENERAL MANAGER - HANS KANDERT, has many years of experience as production manager in the building industry before joining Scale-Tron in 1994. Since then he has been responsible for both production and purchasing in both companies. He is also a semi-professional photographer and is responsible for many of the illustrations on this site. He speaks English and German.

Scale-Tron concrete batching systems are in use across North America and the Far East. The company also custom designs weighing systems for specialized applications.
