Single-point load cells are intended for use in platform scales, where the platform is supported at its centre by the load cell (see O.E.M.Scales for example).  No levers or other mechanical couplings are required;  the load cell is carefully adjusted at the factory to ensure that wherever the load is placed, the output will be identical.  Other applications can benefit from this feature also.  Call us for application information and our recommendations.
